Tokyo Club HSFX Mission

Post by 334th_Padre » Sun Apr 01, 2018 1:01 am

DATE: 07/04/2018
TIME: 2100 GMT

DETAILS:

334th will participate in Kopfdorfer's Tokyo club IL2 1946 mission on the above date.
We will provide bomber pilots in B-29's and P-51D fighter escort/fighter sweep flights flying from Iwo Jima to mainland Japan

The mission will be HSFX Expert mode with a JSGME Mod Pack for the map and will be approximately 4 hrs duration.

It's hoped that this can be built upon with a follow up mission.

Hi Guys,

Here are the Roster assignments as they stand now.

I am requesting that you please use the historical skins provided.
I have no problem if you wish to personalize them with noseart , kill markings etc.

The Tokyo Club RED TEAM Roster (as of 3-4-2018)

(Chart of Sqdn/Group historical Skin Assignments)

SQUAD BOMB GROUP FIGHTER SQDN

Aces High 497th BG (H) 46th FS/15th FG
“A” Tails Blue Stripe , spinners , wingtips
AC Numbers 200-249*

334th Eagles 498th BG (H) 72nd FS/15th FG
“T” Tails Yellow Stripe , Spinners , Wingtips
AC numbers 250-299*

Joint Command 499th BG (H) 531st FS/15th FG
“V” Tails White Stripe , spinners , wingtips
AC Numbers 300-349*

UNASSIGNED 500th BG (H) 78th FS/21st FG
“Z” Tails Yellow/black tips , yellow/black spinner
AC Numbers 100-149*

AI 500th BG (H) 45th FS/21st FG
“Z” Tails Green Stripe , green/black spinner
AC Numbers 150-199*

* This is in case you wish to personalize your skin with an historically correct AC number.
These numbers were in black.
The game will not allow this accurately - it will not accept 3 digit identifiers except with a personalized skin.
This is not required , just FYI.

Well Guys,

First I have to say thank you for your participation and support in this endeavour - The Tokyo Club
Mega Mission.
Without Padre's backing it would not have gone ahead.

While for me the ultimate server failure was deeply disappointing , it was encouraging for the future
that so many pilots - and from so many different groups - showed up.

It was great to meet a bunch of new pilots , and I hope to see them again on a teamspeak server list
somewhere soon.

Padre I have to apologize for the communication error that led to the hosting being dropped in your lap.
MY understanding was that it was all taken care of and ready to go. I had a bomb dropped in my lap
less than an hour before mission start. I appreciate you picking up the ball , otherwise it would have been
absolute catastrophe.

I'm going to have a few days rest then try and come up with a new idea , while the incentive is fresh in
everyone's minds.

You guys in the 334th represented your selves well , and I appreciate your level of committment to a project
seeded by someone you knew absolutely nothing about.

Thanks.

Kopfdorfer
